How To Make Waffle
You can see a lot of waffle foodcart here in the Philippines. Maybe because it's affordable yet delicious and convenient to eat especially when your in a hurry. And it comes in savory and sweet filling.
So I hope you enjoy this recipe. Enjoy!
Waffle Recipe
Ingredients:
2 cups flour
1 tsp salt
4 tsp baking powder
7-8 tbsp sugar
370 ml milk
2 eggs
6 tbsp vegetable oil or cooking oil
1 tsp vanilla
Ham, cheese, hotdog, slice to the size that will fit the waffle iron
(you can choose any kind of filling that you like.)
Procedure:
1. Cut the fillings to the size that will fit your waffle iron.
2. In a bowl, beat 2 eggs then add milk, flour, baking powder, salt and sugar and mix well.
3. Next add cooking oil and vanilla and mix thoroughly.
4. You can put the batter in a soy sauce dispenser, pastry bag or you can just use laddle (sandok) to pour the batter.
5. Brush the upper and lower iron with melted butter or cooking oil.
6. Warm the waffle iron, follow the instruction manual of your waffle maker (In my case, when i've finished pouring the batter in the waffle maker it's only then that i turned on the heat, because my waffle burns easily when i warm it up first.)
7. Pour the batter to the waffle iron, then add the fillings.
8. Then quickly cover the filling with batter, cover it well.
9. Gently press until the upper iron meets the lower iron.
10. Cook for about 4-6 minutes or until light golden brown.
