Letterpress printing birthday greeting cards in green ink with a tabletop printing press

We typically post videos daily on here and many of our viewers tell us when it is their birthday. Well, this is our way of wishing you all a happy birthday! In this video, Jared letterpress prints the front and back of birthday greeting cards using a 3x5 Kelsey Excelsior tabletop printing press. The ink is a green rubber base ink and the font is 24 point Stymie Bold type. The electrotype used of the shouting individual was made about 90-100 years ago. Thirty cards were printed for this press run and these are available in our museum store.
