This video has an updated version: /watch/0vAYvNiEyiMEY !!!error on viral pneumonia explained 👇🏻 There are several interesting parallels to a century ago. 1920 and 2020 have many striking similarities. Spanish Flu, WWI, a Return to Normalcy, and current events rhyme together like strange repetitions ------------------------------------------------------------ Connected videos: 5:05 - WILSOOOON! /playlist/PLjnwpaclU4wXmCcEx0vfIim_jFMkgtLmS 6:50 - Allied intervention in Russia: /watch/Yxgbzmb1Cm11b 7:45 - Olympics history: /watch/U9t5KmFYGHWY5 8:00 - 1919: /watch/wNYcYn2iP4Sic 9:45 - Crime drop: /watch/MRPhozsFhgVFh 14:30 - more on women's suffrage: /watch/cE_hhceQ-KIQh ------------------------------------------------------------ This video is demonetized by manual review. See pinned comment and its replies for references, notes, responses errata: 11:20 this is misleading. Here's a better explanation: According to several recent studies (see Pale Rider below), most deaths in 1918 were caused by a bacteria onset by Spanish Flu compromised immune systems. That's why so many younger people died in 1918-19, but pneumonia is a symptom not bacteria itself. Coronavirus causes viral pneumonia, but that's why it hurts older people more, because it does not compromise immune systems like Spanish Flu. Hopefully that is more clear (thx Everythingman) ------------------------------------------------------------ SUBSCRIBE FOR MORE VIDEOS: /user/CynicalCypher88 Support the channel through PATREON: https://www.patreon.com/CynicalHistorian LET'S CONNECT: Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/cynicalcypher88 Discord: https://discord.gg/Ukthk4U Twitter: https://twitter.com/Cynical_History Subreddit: https://www.reddit.com/r/CynicalHistory/
