@robmarkey34483 years agoI've left Bruno out of my team but saying Bruno is a 7/8mil player without pens in ludicrous. He created more chances than anyone last season. You said united will be more attacking this season? Doesn't make sense. Bruno will definitely be in the top 5 scores at the end of the season. Maybe 11m would have been better but then mane would have to be priced at 10. ...33

@IvayloHristovHristov3 years agoNice team. My only concern is if Greenwood and/or Mahrez miss games and Bruno hits the ground running, you will have a challenge fitting him in. Utd can still line up with Pogba, James, Sancho, Martial, Lingard and Bruno up top and Cavani will surely be ready for the second game. I'm considering a punt on Pogba more than him honestly. ...

@zouqu3 years agoIm not so sure about your team. Other than Salah, who are your captain options? Even as early as GW3. Captain Salah against Chelsea? Captain Greenwood against Wolves? Captain Mahrez against Arsenal? Just no good captain choice imo. Also your Bruno Fernandes comments are so unbelievably outrageous. A 7.5m midfielder without penalties? Excluding penalties, he scored 9 goals and got 14 assists last year, playing 3100 minutes. That a goal contribution every 134 minutes. 0.67 Goals/Assists p90, if he scored ZERO penalties. Theres no way on earth Manchester United get ZERO penalties all season. Doing some simple math, If Bruno scored ZERO penalties last season, he would have got 9 goals and 14 assists = 87 points, + 13CS points = 100 points. He played 90 minutes in 34 games, so at least 68 points for gametime, that puts him at 168 points, excluding his 36 bonus points, which he may have got slightly less due to this hypothetical ZERO penalty situation. Either way that puts him at around 200 points for the season. If you can find me a 7.5m midfielder that can get me 200 points a season, I will send you my bank details. Kevin De Bruyne last season was 11.5m - 12m all season long, and scored 141 points. Yes he only plauyed 200 minutes, but if you adjust his points for 3100 minutes, he would've ended on 219 points. Playing in a better defensive side than Man United, who had 6 more clean sheets. And De Bruyne is widely considered one of the best passers in the world. Considering this season, united have bolstered their defense with Varane. Luke Shaw is on form and will create even more opportunites for forwards and Bruno. United will likely start with Greenwood in the attack, possibly the best finisher in the united side, giving Bruno even more assist chances. And on top of that, United have a Top 3 opening fixture run. I dont care what argument you make, I can't see any reason to spread out the Bruno money to get players like Havertz and Mahrez in, considering Mahrez isnt anywhere near a lock to play the opening 6 fixtures, and Chelsea have some of the toughest opening fixtures in the league. Considering Bruno scored 9 non-penalty goals last season, he is bound to score at least 2-3 penalties this season. And he has Jadon Sancho in the attack now, with an even stronger defense than last year behind him, and possibly United's most clinical finisher playing in front of him for the opening games, Its a no brainer to have him in your team. 8 big chances missed, and he hit the woodwork 3 times last season too. Sorry for the paragraph. TLDR for people: Bruno is most definitely worth 12m. 200 points last season without penalties, and he has an even better team around him this year. Crazy to go without him imo :) ...1

That 50% ownership is killer tho and we all know the rules don't seem to fall on Utd like they do on other teams. Im putting Bruno and Shaw in then when both have shockers against Leeds/Southampton easy switch to Coufal and Kane. ...1
